BMW E89 – The second-generation Z4 (2009–2016)

The BMW E89 is the second generation of the BMW Z4 and was 2009 to 2016 In contrast to its predecessor (E85/E86), BMW used a electrically retractable hardtop that combined coupe and roadster in one.

Visually, the E89 impresses with elegant, sporty lines and a modern interior. Technically, it is based on the E9x 3 Series platform and offers a wide range of engines – from the four-cylinder (sDrive18i) to the powerful Z4 sDrive35is with twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine (N54, 340 hp).
