This magnetic oil drain plug is specially designed for BMW differentials and replaces the original drain plug (BMW OE No. 33117525064).
• Anodized aluminum housing – 30% lighter than the original screw and permanently corrosion-resistant.
• Integrated neodymium magnet captures metallic abrasion particles from the transmission oil and thus reduces wear.
• Thread M22 x 1.5, length approx. 32 mm, wrench size 14 mm; including matching sealing washer (aluminum).
• Recommended when changing the differential oil on numerous BMW models (including E30, E34, E36, E46, E82, E9x, F2x, F3x, F8x).
• Motorsport items not approved for road use – professional installation required.
The magnetic field attracts fine metal particles from the differential oil, increasing the service life of the differential and bearings. At the same time, the lightweight aluminum housing is 30% lighter than the standard steel propeller.
