Description

Cover plate for the secondary air pump connection on S52, S54, S62, M52 and M54 engines with heat-resistant gasket and mounting hardware.

The cover plate seals the hole on the engine block after the secondary air pump has been removed. A precisely fitting gasket and self-locking nuts are included.

Suitable for S54 engines (E46 M3, Z4 M and Wiesmann MF 3)

Suitable for M54 engines (E46 – 320i, 325i, 330i; E39 – 520i, 525i, 530i; E60/E61 – 520i, 525i, 530i; Z3 – 2.2i, 3.0i; Z4 – 2.2i, 2.5i, 3.0i)

Suitable for S62 engines (E39 M5 and Z8 E52)

Advantages include:

  • no unpleasant noise, especially if the pump is defective
  • weight saving when removing the pump
  • pump as a source of error is eliminated

Please note that this modification is not permitted under road traffic regulations!

A software adjustment is necessary if the check engine light is to be deactivated.
