MSL OIL THERMOSTAT suitable for BMW N55 F-Series

Scope of delivery: Oil thermostat gasket and installation kit 3 titanium bolts M8x25 Operating temperature 20°C lower than stock CNC-milled, robust housing. Equipped with a real thermostat, not an always-open solution. (for use in hot and cold climates)

Quick installation The installation only takes 30 minutes. In N54, N55, and S55 engines, oil cooling problems are not uncommon, which is why we recommend installing the MSL oil thermostat. The standard oil thermostat reaches about 120 degrees Celsius under normal driving conditions. The MSL oil thermostat opens at a lower temperature than the standard oil thermostat (at 85 degrees Celsius) and keeps the temperature stable between 95 and 105 degrees Celsius, depending on the vehicle model.

Installing the MSL thermostat ensures a cooler oil temperature, which leads to more stable performance, but above all, improves engine reliability. The installation of the thermostat is highly recommended, especially for tuned vehicles.

THE NEXT LEVEL OF TEMPERATURE CONTROL A highly recommended upgrade for N54, N55, and S55 engines. The thermostat is plug-and-play and is manufactured from a solid block of high-quality aluminum in our own factory. It is equipped with a real thermostat, not an always-open solution. The oil reaches operating temperature at the same time as a stock thermostat.
