With the E46 CSL trunk lid (including replica trunk lids), the handle strip and thus also the button for unlocking the trunk lock are omitted.
In the original BMW E46 M3 CSL vehicles, a trunk lid release button was installed in the interior, located above the hood release.
Two variants of the button were originally installed in the CSL.
