Our aluminum charge pipe replaces the OEM plastic pipes. In vehicles with increased performance, the increased boost pressure can cause the original charge pipe to burst. In the worst case, ingested fragments can lead to engine damage.
The do88 charge pipe has significantly better flow than the original, which we have tested both on the car and on our own SuperFlow SF-1020 Flow dyno.
Advantages of do88 charge pipe over original charge pipe:
• Flow at 0.075 bar pressure drop: 680 CFM (460 CFM), do88 48% more!
• Designed to withstand high pressure and high temperatures!
• The pipe has 2 connections for methanol injection (1/8 – 27 NPT). These connections are supplied with blind plugs.
• Plug & Play fit for the specified models!
The charge pipe was made from 3″ extruded aluminum tubing and bent into shape with a mandrel bending machine. CNC-machined sensor flange for perfect fit!
Specially developed, high-quality silicone hoses with shifted reinforcement made of polyester/polyamide to withstand high temperatures and high pressure.
The original charge pipe and hoses were designed for the car's performance. If you increase this performance and demand more from the car, this is no longer sufficient. That's why our charge pipes offer the best performance and durability even with higher boost pressure or software updates!
do88 charge pipes are supplied with all parts necessary for installation.
