CAE Ultra Shifter – Optimized for motorsport with the following features:
- Universal kit for vehicles with 5- and 6-speed Getrag or ZF transmissions, standard H-pattern or dog leg.
- Short and super-precise shift throws in H-pattern.
- The clutch system remains original.
- Racing-style appearance.
- Optimal ergonomics with a focus on motorsport: Perfect positioning of the gear lever close to the steering wheel. The H-shift pattern is within approx. 65 x 65 mm.
- Reverse gear lockout via a cable from the shift lever. Accidental engagement of reverse gear is impossible. Reverse gear is unlocked by pulling up the sliding sleeve on the shift lever.
- Low weight and high stability: The milled and turned parts are made of 7075 aluminum, the sub-constructions from laser-cut, 3 mm thick AlMg3 aluminum sheet. The parts are joined using the TIG welding process and brushed bare for an optimal finish.
- Trouble-free gear changes under load or when cornering.
- Integrated center spring, providing perfect feedback when changing gears during upshifts and downshifts.
- Right/left stops and reverse gear stop separately adjustable.
- Shifter is supplied as a complete kit for adaptation to BMW shift linkage, including all small parts, mounting material and detailed installation instructions.
- Shifter is designed for vehicles without interior trim or without a center console.
- Optionally completely black or gray anodized
- Shift knob made of anodized aluminum in titanium gray, blue, red, silver, green, purple, orange, as well as in black or white plastic.

Registration in the vehicle documents for use in the area of the
STVZO is therefore EASILY possible according to §19/3.

If we do not explicitly write about a parts certificate or a general operating permit (ABE) in the product text, it is a motorsport item that is not permitted under the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVO) and therefore the operating license expires if no registration according to § 21 StVO takes place!
