BMW's factory GKN Visco-lock differential uses two different-length output flanges. When you upgrade to the RacingDiffs Motorsport clutch-type LSD — an internal “asymmetrical” design — you must replace the shorter flange with a longer one so both sides match. That's exactly what this Genuine BMW flange does.
