do88 Performance Intercooler J-Pipe from intercooler to throttle valve, designed for easy installation in your BMW M2 / M3 / M4 F8X.
The S55 twin-turbo engine that powers the BMW M2C/M3/M4 F8X uses plastic intercooler pipes on both the hot and cold sides. These OE plastic pipes are a weak point on tuned vehicles, or even with stock power output, as they often crack or split , resulting in a loss of boost pressure.
With the do88 performance intercooler J-pipe, do88 aims to solve precisely this reliability problem while simultaneously reducing limitations by improving airflow .
For the development, a detailed 3D scan of the engine compartment of an M3 Competition was created to precisely model the available space. Based on this, a new 3.5″ (89 mm) cast J-pipe with a very smooth profile was manufactured – unlike many aftermarket J-pipes, which are bent and welded from 3″ tubing.
This 3.5″ (> Original 3.3″ / 85 mm) pipe improves airflow to the throttle valve, resulting in better performance and durability.
