BigPack BMW F8X M2C M3 M4 – Product description
These are our various BigPack configurations for the BMW M2C / M3 / M4 F8X.
These are complete packages for the intercooler system with a perfect fit!
The S55 turbocharged engine powering the BMW M2C/M3/M4 F8X uses a top-mounted, water-cooled intercooler instead of a conventional air-cooled one. The standard top-mounted intercooler features a tube-and-fin core with clamped plastic end tanks. This design has its drawbacks, as it is prone to cracking and leaking coolant into the engine or losing boost pressure through the tank seals.
The coolant in this system has its own separate cooling circuit, consisting of two radiators connected in parallel and a pump. The larger of the two radiators is located in front of the central radiator assembly, while the smaller one is located in front of the right wheel arch.
These vehicles are equipped with plastic intercooler pipes on both the hot and cold sides. These pipes are a weak point on any tuned car, and in some cases even on a stock tune. The OE plastic pipes often crack or split, resulting in a boost leak.
We designed upgrades for all these parts using advanced 3D scanning and 3D modeling within the scanned environment. We conducted CFD simulations for most parts and multiple tests to ensure we deliver the best performance upgrade!

Our performance intercooler helps your engine produce more power by lowering intake air temperature and reducing pressure drop! It's a bar-and-plate unit with 3D freeform end tanks TIG-welded to the core. It has a core volume 85% larger than the stock intercooler and outperforms the stock unit in both airflow and cooling efficiency. With 16% better airflow and a 9°C lower intake air temperature, this is a true upgrade!
Our intercooler radiators lower the water temperature in the charge air cooling system. This results in a lower intake air temperature, which provides both increased power and more consistent performance. We achieve this through an increased cooling surface area, increased core thickness, and expertly assembled cores made of multi-channel tubing!
Our charge air pipes, both those leading from the turbochargers to the intercooler and the pipe leading from the intercooler to the throttle body, are designed to add durability while simultaneously improving airflow. It's not easy to improve both reliability and airflow, as stock pipes already offer good flow. With our software flow simulations and physical flow verification capabilities, we are confident that we deliver improvements that go beyond what most suppliers of this type of pipe can claim!
