E71 / E72

The BMW E71 is the first generation of the BMW X6, produced from 2008 to 2014. It introduced a unique blend of SUV and coupé styling, which BMW called a "Sports Activity Coupé."

Built on the X5 platform, the E71 offered powerful engines, including twin-turbo V8s, and came with xDrive all-wheel drive as standard. It also featured technologies like Dynamic Performance Control for improved handling. The E71 stood out for its bold design and sporty driving dynamics, setting the tone for performance-focused SUVs.
