It is a direct replacement for all our systems equipped with Eventuri carbon filter housings and will be factory fitted in all new intake systems from 2018 onwards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUnlike many other manufacturers who use a generic filter, we have\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003econducted extensive research and development\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eand invested considerable resources in our own unique filter design, optimising it for our patent-pending, reverse-mounted configuration. The filtration medium is made of non-woven fabric and is ISO 5011 tested, which corresponds to the same filtration standard as OEM filters. The fabric is double-layered and dry, meaning it will not damage MAF sensors with oil. Our filters feature 2 flow guide cones, carefully modelled to guide airflow as follows:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eInternal Cone\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e– designed to direct the incoming airflow through the filter, creating an even velocity profile across the length of the filter material. This cone effectively helps distribute the airflow over the filter without turbulence.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eExternal Cone\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e– CNC-machined, with a very unique profile that has been largely optimised to draw the airflow down towards the centre, allowing a smooth transition into the downstream pipes. This cone creates a controlled turbulent area around the tip, which increases the convergence velocity of the air, so that the connecting pipes have a higher velocity profile of the airflow leading to the engine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThrough back-to-back dyno testing of Eventuri intakes with the original filters versus the upgraded filters, we found an additional gain in horsepower and torque. This confirms our theoretical modelling and proves that the upgraded filters indeed have a significant impact on airflow through the intake. The power gain over the original filters varies from vehicle to vehicle, but here are some of the results we have measured so far.
